There is an anecdote in Augustine’s great work ‘City of God’ of a conversation between Alexander the Great and a famous pirate named Diomedes. It was written 700 years after the events were supposed to have taken place, by a man living in North Africa under the Roman Empire just before the lights of civilisation went out permanently there.

In the exchange, Alexander asks Diomedes why he plagues the seas. The pirate contemptuously responds, ‘The same reason as you do the world, but while I operate with one boat, I am called a robber; but since you have a great fleet, you are called emperor.’

This exchange goes to the heart of what makes governments legitimate.… Read the rest

Sorry Mr. Franklin, The Republic Is Dead

This piece appeared originally on The Daily Caller.

President Trump’s flurry of activity since taking office has been breathtaking to behold. Like no president before him, Trump is using the power of the presidential pen to roll back the worst excesses of the Obama years and bring the focus of government back to what is in the interests of the American people.

Trump’s unilateral use of executive power is outraging liberals, of course. Their howls of anguish are a delight to the ears of right-thinking Americans. In a beautiful irony of history, it was the left who created the imperial presidency that Trump is now wielding to such devastating effect against their neo-Marxist globalist agenda.… Read the rest

Mourning In Marxist America

This article appeared originally on The Daily Caller.

Today is a day of great jubilation and celebration for us Americans who have suffered silently under the tyranny of financial repression, the suffocation of political correctness and the treachery of globalization for far too long. No matter what President Trump does during his first term, change is coming. That should give all of us hope that we can actually believe in this time.

Unlike previous elections in living memory, however, the losing side has not capitulated. They have not retreated to lick their wounds or re-evaluate their positions. They are doubling-down.… Read the rest

No Mr Soros, America Needs Defending

This article appeared originally on The Daily Caller.

Last Wednesday oligarch George Soros wrote an opinion piece for Project Syndicate, a website his Open Society Foundation co-funds. In the article, entitled ‘Open Society Needs Defending’, Mr. Soros laments that his beloved open societies project is in crisis around the world. According to Mr. Soros, our future is threatened by the rise of so-called closed societies – ‘fascist dictatorships’ and ‘mafia states’. Given that President-elect Trump is mentioned by name in the first sentence, the reference to his recent election victory is clear.

Mr. Soros’ vitriol for President-elect Trump does not end there.… Read the rest

Neo-Nazism Is Neo-Marxism

Since Richard Spencer’s neo-Nazi antics at his National Policy Institute conference two weeks ago, the mainstream media has been awash with references to President-elect Trump and neo-Nazism. Spencer and his goose-stepping minions have ensured that the liberal media has all the ammunition they need to link the president-elect and Nazism in the months to come.

For a man who says that he supports President-elect Trump, Spencer’s actions are suspicious to say the least. Something is very fishy about Spencer’s fashy speech.

Why would a white nationalist leader, who coined the term ‘alt-right’, suddenly come out in front of over 100 invited members of the mainstream media and directly associate President-elect Trump with neo-Nazism?… Read the rest

Weaponized Ideology

This article appeared originally on The Daily Caller.

Evidence has been emerging over the past week that the anti-Trump protests and riots disrupting cities across America are not spontaneous or grassroots in their origin. It has come to light rather that these sometimes violent and disruptive demonstrations are being organized by a nationwide network of non-profit organizations with links to billionaire financier George Soros.

Ads posted by Soros-linked liberal groups have been appearing on Craigslist sites across the nation offering payment to participate in the anti-Trump protests. President-elect Trump himself stated during his interview with 60 Minutes that professional protesters were behind the riots.… Read the rest

The Rage Of The Cry-Babies
Posted on

This article appeared originally on The Daily Caller.

Across America, outraged liberals have taken to the streets to block traffic, cause mayhem and destroy property because their candidate lost the presidential election. In Los Angeles leftists shut down the 101 Freeway, while in Oakland protestors shouted obscenities in Spanish while smashing windows and starting fires.

This liberal tantrum is being driven by ideology as much as by rage at the possibility that someone might take their government handouts away. This applies as much to the protestors themselves as the financial oligarchs who usually fund their operations.

Life for those who live off government in America has been good for a long time now.… Read the rest

Socialism Created The Corrupt Clintons

This article appeared originally on Eagle Rising.

The rise of Donald Trump during this presidential election has caught many liberals in America by surprise. Exposure of the corruption and illegal behaviour within the Democrat establishment has caught many conservatives by surprise as well. For everyday Americans who have been alarmed at the direction of the country for a very long time, however, both of these have been welcome developments.

A growing number of people in America are realizing that our country is facing a convergence of catastrophes. A sense of crisis is mounting. The establishment media tells us relentlessly that our main problems are climate change, Third World poverty, refugee flows, gender and racial inequality and the growing wealth of the rich.… Read the rest
