The Problem Of Democratic Sovereignty
Posted on

This post appeared first on XYZ.

This is the second in a series looking at sovereignty and political legitimacy in Western countries today. The first piece explored the problem of democratic legitimacy under socialism.

The mood among the establishment media has shifted noticeably since the French election. Gone is the post-Trump melancholia. Lovers of the globalist status quo seem to have convinced themselves that Brexit and Trump were just anomalies, and that the new world disorder of open borders, cultural Marxism against whites and unfettered corporate neoliberalism is back on track.

They’re wrong. Macron is a puppet of the globalists, sure, yet the establishment parties which have ruled France for decades were roundly rejected.… Read the rest

There is an anecdote in Augustine’s great work ‘City of God’ of a conversation between Alexander the Great and a famous pirate named Diomedes. It was written 700 years after the events were supposed to have taken place, by a man living in North Africa under the Roman Empire just before the lights of civilisation went out permanently there.

In the exchange, Alexander asks Diomedes why he plagues the seas. The pirate contemptuously responds, ‘The same reason as you do the world, but while I operate with one boat, I am called a robber; but since you have a great fleet, you are called emperor.’

This exchange goes to the heart of what makes governments legitimate.… Read the rest

Trump’s Strike On Syria And The English Empire

This piece appeared first on XYZ.

America’s wars always start with a lie. The United States entered World War I in response to the sinking of the civilian ship The Lusitania, however it was later discovered that the ship was being used to supply ordinance to support the Allied war effort against Germany. There is strong evidence that the attack on Pearl Harbour was known in advance by the US military establishment, who let it happen so as to bring the US into the war effort. The Gulf of Tonkin incident which was used to widen US involvement in Vietnam was a sham; LBJ later admitted the Navy might as have been ‘shooting at whales’.… Read the rest

Middle Class Homelessness

This piece appeared originally on XYZ.

It is a difficult thing for a man to face himself one day in the mirror and realise that, regardless of the delusions and aspirations he has held in his breast until time revealed them as false, he is a failure. This, of course, can be a liberating moment; but it is always a painful one. It may be that he had hoped to be a professional athlete, but after years of trying he faces himself and swallows the bitter pill that this will never happen. Perhaps he hoped to reach six feet, but at 20 finally accepts that he will always be 5 foot 10.… Read the rest

India’s Cash Ban: What The Media Isn’t Telling You
Posted on

This article appeared originally on XYZ.

Something massive happened in India two weeks ago, and as usual the fake news mainstream media outlets have uttered barely a word about it. The Indian government banned money.

Now, so far they’ve only banned the 1000 and 500 rupee notes, but it’s just the beginning. It’s the first stage of a plan to digitise currency entirely.

This is a cruel, insane act in a country in which only half the population has a bank account. The country has been thrown into turmoil since, and there is a revolutionary anger growing among the population.… Read the rest

Is Obama Starting World War III?
Posted on

This article appeared originally on The Daily Caller.

In the latest escalation of rhetoric over the situation in Syria, Obama administration officials have indicated a willingness to use airstrikes against Bashar Al-Assad’s forces in Aleppo to prevent them from taking control of the strategically important city. Last Thursday Russian Major General Igor Konashenkov responded by warning that Russia would shoot down any coalition jets carrying out airstrikes against Syrian government forces in Aleppo. This is the clearest indication from the Russians that they will directly use force against America and its allies to protect the Syrian regime.

These alarming developments lead to a very troubling question.… Read the rest

Order Is Breaking Down
Posted on

This post originally appeared on XYZ.

Does anyone still not think that the world got real weird about a year or two ago? It’s like the globe went from being a placid pond to a washing machine. Things that you never would have imagined ten years ago are now daily occurrences in the news. As usual, the mainstream media is explaining away events while XYZ has been covering this trend in detail. How can we make sense of the atmosphere of insanity which we can feel is spreading around the world?

It’s my view that we are living through a time when the paradigm upon which the present order is based is breaking down.… Read the rest
